Geek or NerdOk, so after digging around the Internet (I have no idea what I was searching for to make this come up, so please don’t ask), I came across what I thought was a pretty interesting Infographic to share with everyone.  In the world of IT, PC admins and the folks working in the brightly lit and arctic temperatures of the data center are used to hearing terms like “geek” and “nerd” thrown around.  I remember it well, though honestly never gave it much thought.  To be honest, geek and nerd mean something totally different today in 2012 than it did in say the 1980′s.  And now, sometimes, it’s even worn as a badge of honor.

While I thought this Infographic was funny and worth sharing with others, I didn’t quite agree with its findings or way of differentiating between the two terms.  Maybe it’s because I’m a PC/Windows/Android user and not a Mac user.  And that hipster thing really threw me for a loop too!  :)

Anyway, I love technology, electronics and gadgets.  And I love working with virtualization and cloud technology!  Geek?  Nerd?  Maybe.  Hipster?  Nah.

What do you think?
Geeks vs Nerds
